Proof that Israel is an emerging world super power.
1)-Israel
has the highest ratio of university degrees per capita in the world.
2)-In
2006, not including diamonds, Israel’s exports reached an incredible
$30.6 Billion dollars and imports amounted to $38.7 Billion dollars.
3)-Israel
has the most home-based computers per capita in the world.
4)-World
renowned companies set up shop in Israel. Among them are Intel, Microsoft, IBM,
Motorola, Google and Siemens.
5)-The
Pentium MMX was designed in Israel and the Pentium lV and Centrino processors
were created and produced in Israel.
6)-Intel
is building a massive new $3.5 billion plant in the Israeli town of Kiryat Gat.
The plant is projected to start to produce microprocessors there in 2008.
At present, Intel employs 6,600 Israelis at their 6 plants.

phone technology was developed in Israel.

Israeli stock market rose 40% from mid 2006 to mid 2007. The credit rating
company Standard and Poors (S&P) recently gave Israel an “A” rating and
Moody’s Investor Services showed its faith in Israel by saying, "Israeli
society and its political and economic decision-makers have shown remarkable
resiliency."
16)-Israel
is one of a few nations to build its own rocket, send it up from its own soil
and have it successfully deploy a satellite they built themselves. On
June 11 2007 Israel launched its second spy satellite called Ofek 7 via a Shavit
Missile. It was sent up from Israel’s Palmahim Air Force base.

to a recent report by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, Israel's
estimated economic growth was 5.2% in the year 2005. Also 5-6% growth has been
sustained through to mid 2007 making Israel one of the world’s fastest growing

Israeli economy is booming. He says, “The
secret lies in the Israeli genius. The imagination, innovation and flexibility
of the country’s citizens, bolstered by higher education and government
support for entreneurship, helped Israel adjust and respond to an ever changing

25)-There
is a completely functional solar-powered electricity generating plant in
California built by an Israeli company. This is a world first. Now an Israeli
company named Solel has plans to build a 2 billion dollar Solar Energy park in
southern California’s Mojave Desert using its patented technology. It will be
the world’s largest, producing 553 mega watts of electrical power. Components
will be manufactured in the company’s plant in the beautiful Israeli city of
Bet Shemesh. Is it a coincidence that the name of this city means House of the
Sun? This company is also building a solar park in Spain.
Recently the Israeli government announced plans to build a sophisticated
one in the Negev. This is a unified planned venture between the Israeli
government and other companies. They hope to provide 50% of Israel’s energy
needs within 15 years and 80% within 30.
Also at the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa, researchers have
developed a way to produce electricity from the sun using helium filled balloons
coated with solar cells. Each home would need only two balloons.

Aircraft Industry is recognized around the world for its development of military
and commercial aerospace technology. Its products span the world. A few of their
developments are as follows: they
have produced a fleet of more then 600 business jets; they are the designers of
the Flight Guard Self Protection System to defend military and civilian
aircraft against heat seeking missiles. IAI and its MALAT division produced the
world’s first truly sufficiently functional Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and still
is the world leader in developing the UAV. IAI provides its expertise for all
types of network centric warfare, which includes Visual Intelligence from
satellites, aircraft; the IAI MLM division has developed and produced the Shavit
launcher that put the IAI made Ofek satellites into space; they have
co-developed with America the successfully tested and now deployed the Arrow
anti-ballistic missile system.
